We rarely go to the movies. Any guesses as to why? :) When Kevin suggested I take the older kids to see Toy Story 3 and he would keep the two babies, I so jumped on it! (Gotta love a man who offers to babysit a 1 yr old and a 3 month old baby!)
All of the us loved the movie! It was funny, full of adventure and action and I even shed a couple of tears at the end. It may even be better than the other 2. (?) Hmmm.... Maybe a Toy Story Marathon is needed to determine that. :)
I had thought about going to the 3D version, but since I had the 3 yr old wiggle worm with me, I'm glad we didn't. Maybe the two oldest and I can check out the new Shrek in 3D. Kevin seemed to fair pretty well with the little ones. It probably seemed like a relaxing evening for him....... ;)
We loved the movie as well. Glad to you got to enjoy it on the big screen:o) WE cried too...that includes J;o)
ReplyDeleteOoh, I haven't seen it yet, so thanks for the review! And for the record, I know how you meant it, and yes, Kev is totally worth his weight in gold and MORE, but my pet peeve is that everyone seems so impressed when a daddy watches his OWN kids. ha! :-) When Michael takes the girls out to the store or something on Saturday he gets all these oohs and aahs and compliments from grandmotherly types. I don't seem to get that when I take them anywhere the rest of the week. Ha!
ReplyDeleteCrystal - I can so see J shedding a tear every once in awhile. He can be sensitive. :)
ReplyDeleteLarissa - Yes, that is a pet peeve of mine, as well. :) I was completely shocked by the offer to stay home and watch the little ones. It would have been so much easier for him to take the others out. We are both very blessed to have the men we do!
