This blank boring window has been taunting me since we moved in.
It's a very visible window. You can see it from the kitchen, living room and every time you walk up the stairs (duh!). I've had such a hard time figuring out what I wanted to do with it.
Last week (while Kevin was gone), I decided to just pick something out and get it done. 2 years is a long time to have something on a 'to-do' list!
I finished some window treatments over the weekend and then Most-Wonderful-Husband-In-The-World put it up for me Monday night.
He had an audience while hanging them.
A small casualty while hanging. The 60" 1x3 board that the curtain is stapled to decided not to stay put while he was reattaching the L brackets. (Looks like we will be replacing the 'temporary' accordion blind sooner than later.)
A little closer view. Like the beaded fringe?
A little color on that big, white, empty wall is nice. I must say, I'm VERY pleased with the finished results!
That looks great, I love the beaded fringe. Shame about the blind.
ReplyDeleteThese curtains turned out great! Way to go:o)
ReplyDeleteVery elegant, Jessica! I'm impressed. Sorry about the casualty, but getting a real blind will be the consolation.
ReplyDeleteDecorating my home stairway window. Have a look at it
