About Me
Hi! Welcome to my blog. My name is Jessica - more often than not, shortened to Jess. Glad to have you visiting my little spot in blog world. Take a look around, make a few comments if you like and enjoy yourself. Below is a little information about me. (Aren't you lucky!)
First and foremost I am a Christian striving to be the person, wife and mother I need to be. I fail miserably at times, but thankfully I have grace and a wonderful support system of family and friends.
I've been married to my amazing husband, Kevin, for almost 10 years. We've survived multiple moves with his job, 5 children and everyday life. I'm blessed beyond words to be married to my best friend. Hard to imagine all that we've gone through and been able to experience in such a short time.
I have 5 wonderful kids that mean so much to me. Having a large family has definitely given me a different perspective. I won't pretend to be 'world's greatest mom', I'm a realist. I'm learning as I go and hopefully my kids will survive having me for their mother. :)
My desire to craft and do all these crazy projects is a way for me to have an outlet to keep from going crazy. I love my family dearly, but I do get tired of laundry, cleaning and diapering.
I like to save money where I can while doing my projects. I will admit, however, that sometimes I don't care what the price tag is if I'm able to get something accomplished. That usually happens when I have way too many interruptions while trying to get something accomplished and my mood at the time. (I know. Me moody? HA!!)
Blogging just sorta happened. I think at first it was just another outlet. Then it evolved into more of an excuse to be able to do more crafting. (Not that I really needed another excuse.) Now, I just really like sharing what I've done and hope it helps someone else out there looking through blog-land. Even if it's just to give someone a smile or a good laugh, it's worth it.
So, stick with me though my journey. There's no telling what I'll do next or what crazy scheme I'll think up to occupy my time.
